Perugia was a city I discovered through Google Maps. I stayed for a couple days in February 2026 and it quickly became one of my favorite places in Europe. The size was perfect; not too small, but not so large as to become overwhelming. It was perfect for wandering and discovering with lots of tunnels and passageways. The city showed its age beautifully.
